Here we have a lovely little piano, a Schimmel 102 upright piano, Made in Braunschweig, Germany.
We are fond of the Schimmel pianos as we also supply them new, always a nice surprise to find a secondhand one when they show up!
The Schimmel 102 is one of the most compact models Schimmel produced, allowing it be accommodated in smaller spaces, yet still features a full 88 key range and 3 pedals.
For it’s size, it has remarkable depth of sound when compared to similarly sized pianos, a testament to their quality, it also has that signature Schimmel tone which is silky, soft and warm.
This Schimmel piano also features a Renner action, a top quality playing action found in many of the top end piano brands allowing the piano to be played expressively with accurate repetitions.

For this particular Schimmel 102 upright piano we modernised the casework by giving it a ebonised black finish (french polished black).
