W Hoffmann 190 Grand Piano

Here we have a rare beast, a W Hoffmann 190 model made in Langlau, W.Germany (1978).
This is an original W Hoffmann piano before Bechstein started producing them from 1992 in their Czech factory, C Bechstein Europe.
A quality made piano, the tone is warm in the bass and mids with a bite in the treble, coupled with a balanced and responsive action, not too heavy nor too light.
We have replaced the hammers on this piano to guarantee it’s longevity, as well as thoroughly regulated, tuned and voiced where necessary, the piano is only now due a re-polish of the black case.

Excellent value for money for someone who wishes to own a more modern, hand-made German piano at the snip of what an equivalent new one would cost today!
