Grotrian-Steinweg (known as simply Grotrian in the US) were closely linked with Steinway & Sons and have a very interesting history to discover, but most importantly they are still manufacturing fine quality pianos to this day.
This 160 model was restored only a few years ago, bucket loads of character with a very warm and mellow tone, absolutely ideal for classical, film and emotive styles of solo piano music!
The touch is well balanced, not particular light nor heavy and is a pleasure to play.
