Hailun 121 Upright Piano

The Hailun 121 upright piano is a fantastic entry level instrument from the Hailun (pronounced “Hay Loon) factory in China. Although little known outside of the Chinese domestic market, the Hailun piano factory is a very well regarded maker of both uprights and grands, and produces many instruments under license for European manufacturers, such as the highly regarded Zimmermann brand for C Bechstein. They’re currently producing some of the best value for money instruments on the market, so are well worth a look!

This Hailun 121 is a mid size upright which should fit into most domestic environments with ease. The instrument produces a warm sound and has a wide dynamic range and rich tonal palette, along with a fluid and precise action, all of which come together to make it a fantastic sounding and feeling piano for the money that really needs to be played to be fully appreciated.

The Hailun 121 would make an ideal instrument for anybody starting off who wants a solidly built upright piano to start learning to play on which they’ll grow into as they progress.
