Schimmel C213T Grand Piano
The Schimmel C213T is a fantastic quality grand piano, and is the largest of three sizes in the highly regarded “Classic” range of Schimmel grand pianos. The “Classic” series is the second highest in the Schimmel range, just below the “Konzert” models, and was previously Schimmel’s flagship series. These professional standard pianos utilise high grade materials throughout, and are produced in Schimmel’s state of the art factory near the German town of Braunschweig, using the latest manufacturing techniques to create a professional, long lasting and outstanding sounding piano with many fantastic qualities.
The Schimmel C213T boasts an incredibly varied dynamic range, as well as an excellent quality of tone, touch and overall construction. It also boasts a surprisingly high level of projection and power given its mid range size, and offers many of the benefits of a full size concert grand but with smaller and more manageable dimensions.
The wider tail on this piano when compared to many other similar grands around the seven foot mark, allows for significantly longer strings and a much larger soundboard, giving it a distinct advantage in terms of the depth of sound and longer resonance that is available when using the sustain pedal.
The C213T would be ideal for many different environments, whether as a centrepiece for the home in a living room or hallway, for colleges and music schools, or indeed in a mid size concert venue for live performances.
This piano is also available with the highly regarded Schimmel “Twin Tone” system, which features an optional extra “silent play” system which allows the player to mute the acoustic operation of the piano and engage digital sampled sounds which can be heard through headphones, all without losing the touch and weight of a real action.
As with most Schimmel upright and grand pianos, the C213T is available in a wide variety of different finishes and colours, including gloss black, gloss white as well as various gloss and satin wood finishes such as walnut and mahogany.
