Yamaha YU1 Upright Piano

A rare find! Here we have a lovely Yamaha YU1 upright piano, made in Hamamatsu, Japan (year 1998).
The Yamaha YU1 is a custom, higher spec version of the popular U1, with some enhancements in the design, both internally and externally, materials (hammers etc), longer bass strings to create more dynamics, resonance and performance in relation to its size.
This YU1 also features a soft fall close over the keys to stop it from slamming shut accidentally, as well as a polished black case with brass fitting’s.
Wonderful clean and clear tone on this power, very impressive power for it’s size as well as a refined feel for excellent expression and repetition, it will sure to satisfy pianists of varying degrees of ability!
