Here we have a compact 88 key Hupfeld upright piano, Made in East Germany.
We’ve had many of these over the years, all of which have proved to be an excellent starter piano for those keen on progressing.
This example is featured in a medium mahogany case with brass fittings, it does have some sun fade to the wood which is not uncommon, this is reflected in the price however the piano is all performing well as it should.
It has a pleasing tone, sligthly tilted to the soft and mellow side of the spectrum, ideal for classical, emotive and film like solo piano music.
