W Hoffmann T128 Upright Piano

The W Hoffmann T128 upright piano is a full size upright piano which is produced in the Czech Republic by C Bechstein Europe, a member of the C Bechstein Family, the famous German piano manufacturer who are one of the oldest and most respected makers in the world. The W Hoffmann V 120 represents an excellent quality European built alternative to popular Japanese models such as a new Yamaha U3 or the equivalent models from Kawai etc, but with a much more rounded, European style tone and lighter action.

This W Hoffmann T128 is a superbly well built piano, and features an amazing sound and dynamic range, using many of the same components as the much more expensive C Bechstein models. The piano is also fitted an extremely fluid and precise action which makes it an absolute joy to play for all levels of pianist. The instrument features a timeless traditional designed European style casework, which as standard comes in in a high gloss black finish with brass fittings, although chrome metalwork is also available for an extra charge.

This piano is also available (at additional cost) with C Bechstein’s factory fitted “Vario” silent play system which can be added to this, or indeed any other W Hoffman piano during the initial construction process. This innovative and highly regarded technology enables the use of headphones for noiseless playing, and mutes the strings in favour of high quality digital sampled sounds whilst still using the genuine acoustic action for a realistic playing feel.
