Steinway Model O Grand Piano

Fresh from the workshop we have a beautiful restored Steinway Model O in Rosewood.
As with most Steinway pianos, we like to keep them as original as possible, and this was a great example as it has been excellently looked after over the years with the soundboard, strings and pin block is fantastic original condition!
The area of attention most pressing with traditional pianos is the action, so we have done extensive restoration in this area to help satisfy a wider range of players of different experience levels, both beginners and advanced players.

– Replaced the hammers with top quality Abel hammers, Germany
– New Levers, Flanges, Shanks, rollers…
– New Leathers and Felts
– New Ivolan Mineralised key tops, Germany, used by most top end makers for pianos made today.
– The beautiful Rosewood casework has had a full strip and french polish, a wood no longer available on pianos anymore…
– Regulation, Tuning and Voicing

This Steinway Model O now looks and plays beautifully, whilst retaining it’s original spirit and character, ready for the next generation, a real centrepiece for the home!
