A rare treat here! A modern and original Ibach upright piano, Made in Barmen, Rhineland, Germany.
Ibach had a long history and huge amount of respect in the piano world, building fine quality instruments from 1794 to 2007, this example was built in 1987/1988.
We have given the casework a ‘freshover/makeover’, stripping and repainting the black casework to ensure it can stand pride of place in the home.
This Ibach is a 126cm model, allowing space for a decent sized soundboard and extra string length, resulting in a deep and satisfying bass and plenty of resonance to play with!
The tone is primarily warm with a little bite to the top end, the touch is medium, neither light not firm, overall it offers a unique character to it’s sound and feel, a pleasure to play.

This piano comes with a 3 year guarantee inclusive, with the option to extend should you wish.
